Texas City Dike — Free Fishing (15 Minutes)
The Texas City Dike is a 5-mile jetty extending into Galveston Bay — one of the longest in the world. Drive or walk out, set up your rod, and fish for redfish, flounder, speckled trout, and sheepshead. No boat required.
The dike also offers stunning views of the bay and the Galveston skyline at sunset. Small bait shop near the entrance. Free access (small vehicle fee may apply).
